A modern day Shanchai (Irish Storyteller) that was born in Co. Kerry, Boston artist Joe Keane explores the boundary between reality and fiction. Using magical stories, lyrics, gestures and poetry his performances plays with our ideas of myth, cultural history, and identity. Keane uses his special talents with a collection of his own stories and ancient Irish lore to weave a fine tapestry, giving us both insight to the magical landscape, traditions and a feast for soul.
