Jean Hale is a storyteller, literacy teacher and New York City native. A lifelong traveler, Jean has admired and collected folklore from every corner of the globe. In recent years, she has become immersed in the cultural festivals of the Scottish Shetland Islands. She is thrilled to return to storytelling at the statue, one of her favorite events for children and children at heart.
